Who is Jason Duval?

Jason grew up surrounded by crooks and criminals, and had a troubled adolescence before joining the army in an attempt to break away from his old life.

But after his service, he found himself in the Leonida Keys area working with local drug traffickers. Jason wants a quiet and easy life, but things around him become more complicated, especially after he enters into a relationship with Lucia.

Jason seems to be a practical person with experience in combat, weapons, and criminal activities, but he is still torn between his desire for stability and the dangerous path he continues to take. Rockstar describes his encounter with Lucia as possibly the best or worst thing that has ever happened to him.

Who is Lucia Caminos?

Lucia is the second heroine of GTA 6, and seems to be the most ambitious and determined character of the duo.

Her father taught her to fight since her childhood, but her attempt to protect her family eventually landed her in Leonida's prison. After her exit, she decides to never leave her life to luck again, and begins taking calculated steps to reach the life she dreams of.

Lucia dreams of a better life for herself and her family, a dream that goes back to the days her family lived in Liberty City. But she realizes that wishes alone will not be enough, so she is ready to do what it takes to change her fate.

Can Jason and Lucia be controlled?

Rockstar has confirmed that Jason and Lucia are the heroes of the story, but the company has not yet revealed a full explanation of the system for switching between them.

It is expected that the game will allow controlling the two characters during different missions and parts of the story, and perhaps performing joint operations, but the details of the switch and abilities of each character have not been officially announced.

Therefore, any information about the existence of a third character or a system completely identical to GTA V remains unconfirmed.
